Selena Gomez has got a temporary restraining order against a 46 year-old man who her attorney claims has a history of mental illness and spoke about thoughts of killing the entertainer.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge passed the order on Thursday requiring Thomas Brodnicki, the man who is disturbing and threatening the singer,  to stay at least 100 yards away from the 19 year-old singer and actress who also is the girlfriend of teenage pop star Justin Bieber.
